ExpertBook B5 Flip
ExpertBook B5 and B5 Flip have been redesigned from previous generations. As the name suggests, the B5 Flip has a display that is able to turn around.
The screen is a 16-inch 16:10 display with a “garage stylus” that allows a different input mode for the computer. This stylus charges when it’s tucked in, and also has 45 minutes of use after 15 seconds of charging.
Inside, the B5 Flip houses a 12th Gen Intel vPro with up to i7 processor, up to 40GB of RAM with Intel Arc A350M graphics, WiFi 6E and RAID support.
Like the B5 Flip, the ExpertBook B5 offers a 16-inch display with a 16:10 aspect ratio. The B5 is Asus’ lightest 16-inch laptop, weighing just under 1.5 kg.
Asus also offers the B5 in the OLED model, with 100% DCI-P3 color gamut, and is also available with 12th generation Intel vPro chips, up to i7 processor, up to 40 GB of RAM with Intel Arc A350M graphics, WiFi 6E and RAID support just like its counterpart B5 Flip.
ExpertBook B6 Flip
Asus claims the ExpertBook B6 Flip is a true mobile workstation designed for those who need extra power in a business PC, with architects, engineers, and product designers among the target markets.
This device also has a 16-inch display that is fully touch-sensitive and rotatable – meaning it can be used as a computer, tent or tablet. The screen can be expanded to miniLED, increasing the brightness to 1000 nits, thanks to the NVIDIA RTX A2000 8 GB graphics card. The Insider B6 Flip can be equipped with an Intel Core i9 processor, up to 128GB of DDR5 RAM and up to 4TB of storage, all thanks to integrated advanced thermal technology.
For creative users, Asus has worked with independent software vendors (ISVs) to fully certify the device in 3ds Max, MicroStation, Vectorworks, and more.
All new equipment is available in the fourth quarter of 2022, with the price of TBC.
